Luigi Sanguigno

Sanguigno
Luigi Sanguigno has a long experience on computing, simulation and modeling. He graduates in materials engineering at the University Federico II of Naples where he also completed his doctorate in transport phenomena. His passion for computers and the thermodynamics pushed him to learn statistical mechanics applied to molecular simulations.

He applied this knowledge to several issues such as thermodynamic of mixtures, adsorption, molecular recognition, single molecule detection, rheology and dynamic mechanical analysis.

Though all these experiences, he learned about managing big data set as signals, images and matrices of experiments. Right now, he works on the extraction of anatomical features from biological images and bioinformatics on high throughput data at the Ospedale San Raffaele in the division of experimental neurology (INSPE).
